History

Dr. Jaclyn Pease has held a passion and motivation to help others from an early age and pursued education in clinical and forensic psychology. She received her doctorate of psychology from Alliant International University. Dr. Pease began her clinical work in Orange County, CA, developing and managing clinical programs in a large private practice. She has participated in large scale treatment program evaluations for state and federal government agencies. Dr. Pease holds specialties in treatment, assessment, and program development. Dr. Pease opened Capitol Psychological Assessment in 2019 and since then, the practice has expanded to include office manager, Mary Hill, and five licensed psychologists who provide evaluation and treatment in both telehealth and in-person settings.

Office Manager

Mary Hill

Mary has been the office manager at Capitol Psychological Assessment (CPA) since 2022. She is the friendly face of our office and works diligently to respond quickly and respectfully to client phone calls, messages, and requests. She is well-versed in the day-to-day operations of CPA and maintains direct communication with our clinical team, to ensure fast responses and scheduling. She has been trained in HIPAA standards and understands the importance of maintaining your confidentiality. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English in 2007 from Sacramento State University. She utilizes skills learned in her education to maintain an organized office, navigate daily office operation, and always keep tasks on schedule for completion.

Jaclyn Pease, Psy.D.

Dr. Pease is a licensed clinical forensic psychologist in California (PSY29768) with educational background and expertise in psychological evaluation, risk assessment, forensic report writing, program evaluation and development, and individual and group psychotherapy. Additionally, she holds specialities in suicide prevention, crisis de-escalation, trauma-based care, evaluation and treatment of first responders, case conceptualization, and testing administration and interpretation.
